Marcie Ley's career highlights have included Mimi in LA BOHÈME with Sarasota Opera, Annapolis Opera, Opera North, and National Lyric Opera; Liu in TURANDOT with Pensacola Opera; Musetta in LA BOHÈME with Fresno Opera; the Countess in LE NOZZE DI FIGARO with Opera Idaho and Cedar Rapids Opera Theater; Susanna in LE NOZZE DI FIGARO with Palm Beach Opera; Antonia in LES CONTES D’HOFFMANN with National Lyric Opera; Anna in NABUCCO at the Arena di Verona; Gilda in RIGOLETTO, Marguérite in FAUST with Dicapo Opera Theatre, and Nedda in I PAGLIACCI with Mississippi Opera and Dicapo Opera Theatre; Marianne in DER ROSENKAVALIER with Pittsburgh Opera; and First Lady in DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE with Opera North. Concert highlights have included Violetta in LA TRAVIATA with Boston’s Chorus pro Musica. Other professional credits have included Sarasota Opera’s Helen Dellera Jepson Award and the Shoshana Foundation’s Richard F. Gold Career Grant. Ms. Ley was also a winner of the Palm Beach Opera Vocal Competition. .

Ms. Ley is currently to be heard as Violetta in LA TRAVIATA in Dortmund, Germany, where she has joined Opera Theater Dortmund for the 2004 and 2005 seasons as a Principal Artist-in-Residence. Upcoming Engagements include Fiordiligi in COSI FAN TUTTE with Opéra National de Montpellier and Antonia in LES CONTES D’HOFFMANN with Opera Theater Dortmund.
